Ministry of Worship
The daily and weekly living out of the Paschal mystery through the sacramental life of the parish, especially the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist. This includes the liturgical life of the parish which contains the assembly, mass coordinators, music ministers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, hospitality ministers, and altar servers; the preparation of all liturgical ministers; and the effectiveness of preaching and hearing the Word of God so that it can be proclaimed in the world.
Music Ministry
Music enriches our liturgies and lifts our souls. Our music varies from guitar to keyboard to choir to combo with drums, violin, and flute. Adult and youth choirs praise God through song.
Contact Music Ministry Office.
Mass Coordinators
Coordinators assist at designated masses weekly to coordinate all the details for the service.
Call the parish office.
Hospitality Ministers
Ushers are the first people seen when folks enter the church. They provide wonderful hospitality, greeting folks, welcoming them, and giving each a song book. They are helpful in seating late-comers, taking up the collection, and keeping the communion procession organized.
Call the parish office.
Altar Servers
Youth and adults assist the presiders of liturgy, helping things to run smoothly and with reverence. Baptized persons who have received First Communion may serve in this ministry. Training is provided before serving.
Call the office of catechal ministry.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Children proceed from the Mass assembly to a separate area where they receive the Gospel and engage in a learning activity; they return after the homily.
Ministers of Communion
These people bring the Body and Blood of Christ to the People of God. They bear witness to the real presence of Christ and show their love for the Lord in the Eucharist.
Call the parish office and schedule an appointment with Fr. Joseph. He will then contact the appropriate formation person and they will contact you and set up a schedule for training.
Ministers of the Word
Lectors proclaim the Word of God to the people. Effective, clear proclamation of the readings is very important to the understanding of the message.
